Tisza Basket – Classic basketball vibe with a modern twist
One of the most striking representatives of Tisza shoes' latest BASKET collection is a high-top shoe that has been missing from the brand's inventory for some time. The design and construction began with a nearly 40-year journey back in time, as the shoe's ancestor was a sneaker that debuted at the BNV exhibition in 1984, which they wanted to revive with the help of their Tisza shoes colleagues.
The model of the time was mostly the best friend of first-class basketball players, but archive images revealed that it stood its ground in several sports, whether indoor or outdoor. Minimal changes were made to the old model: the sole was updated to improve comfort, and the new model received a neoprene insole similar to the Regatta, while the upper heel element was changed to suede leather.
